First Place Prize in the Illinois Department of Human Services annual art competition, "Are you really winning," which brings awareness to the problem of gambling disorders.

The Wauwatosa, WI art competition Art64 was so much fun! I competed against 64 artists (who had come from all over the country and even outside of the U.S.) in a speed painting competition. We had an hour to paint a 16 x 20" canvas. In the first round I painted a beloved police dog from the city of Wauwatosa. I was so excited to make it to the second round and enjoyed meeting many fabulous artists.
